Pitts Special

The Pitts Special is a light aerobatics biplane designed by Curtis Pitts. It has accumulated many competition wins since its first flight in 1944 The Pitts Special dominated world aerobatic competition in the 1960s and 1970s and, even today, remains a potent competition aircraft in the lower categories.

Diamond TwinStar - Mainair Flying Club Gallery
Diamond TwinStar

The DA42 is unusual in that it is powered by two Thielert Centurion 1.7 diesel engines. In the United States, Jet-A or Jet-A1 fuel (or premix) is used. Fuel consumption is about half that of avgas powered light twins of comparable gross weight. The DA42 Twin Star was the first diesel-powered aircraft to make a non-stop crossing of the North Atlantic, in 12.5 hours, with an average fuel consumption of 5.74 gallons per hour (2.87 gallons per hour per engine).

Flight Design CTSW

The CT2K and CTSW are aircraft produced by the Flight Design company (Flightdesign Vertrieb) in Germany. The aircraft can be flown under the microlight/ultralight regulations of several countries as well as the USA FAA Light-sport Aircraft rules and the European EASA Very Light Aircraft rules. Both aircraft are high-wing designs using a 100 hp (70 kW) Rotax engine in a tractor configuration (the 80 hp (60 kW) 912 is sometimes used outside of the US). The main difference between the CT2K and CTSW is the shorter wingspan of the CTSW and the redesigned wingtips. This results in higher cruise speeds for the CTSW while maintaining similar stall speeds.

  Evektor Eurostar

The Eurostar is an ultralight aircraft designed for sport/leisure flying, touring and training with limitation to non-aerobatic VFR operations. The Eurostar is aerodynamically controlled, single-engine, two-seat, low-wing, all metal plane with a fixed tricycle undercarriage and controllable nose wheel. The aircraft is equipped with four cylinder four stroke 80 HP Rotax 912 UL engine, optionally 100 HP Rotax 912 ULS or 80 HP Jabiru 2200.Excellent flight features, top quality and reliability, outstanding design and high performance - these are synonyms for Eurostar - one of the most popular ultralight aircraft today. Today already around 400 Eurostars are flying in more than 30 countries all around the world.

  LH-10 Ellipse

The LH-10 is a carbon fibre aircraft designed with one thing in mind -speed! Its dynamic styling and exceptional overall performance make this aircraft stand out above all others. This two seat "Fighter" style aircraft will give you a whole new dimension to your flying experience. Whether you fly all out at 200kts orcruise at a more sedate 100kts the ride will be one you never forget.

  Jabiru J250-SP

The idea behind the J250-SP is to exceed the expectations of pilots who have time in the cockpits of more complicated, higher-performance general aviation airplanes. A roomy, 44 inch-wide cockpit and a large baggage compartment make the J250-SP a true cross-country cruiser. But Jabiru’s breakthrough philosophy of design simplicity remains in the forefront of the J250-SP’s all-composite airframe. This straightforward approach to engineering and manufacturing lowers maintenance costs and improves reliability. Modern aerodynamics and a potent 120-horsepower Jabiru engine result in dynamic, yet stable, flight characteristics that will put a smile on the face of the most experienced pilot without intimidating new or low-time pilots.
